Racing: Punters' Guide - Creek's class shows potential

Bold Fact: Very useful performer under fast ground conditions. Ran eighth to Bold Edge over this distance at Newmarket first time out and, while possibly in need of that race, might appreciate the extra furlong here.

Tipsy Creek: Formerly a very fast, Royal Ascot-winning juvenile and still well up to Listed class. Third in a handicap on his seasonal debut and should be spot on now. A comfortable defeat of Bold Edge at Newmarket last season gives him leading claims.

Easy Dollar: On a long losing run, though not disgraced, when fifth to Bold Edge at Newmarket in April. Without a win since 1995.

Levelled: Decent sprint handicapper taking a rise in class. Defied top weight at Chester two starts ago and then a fair fourth under a penalty at York. Very genuine but has something to find here.

Night Shot: Progressive sprinter and acquitted himself well in fourth place behind Sampower Star in Group Three company at York last week when struggling to go the early pace but then staying on well. May prefer softish ground.

Rich In Love: Proved no match for the promising Presumed here (7f) last time and may be taken off her feet over this shorter trip.

Sarson: Speedily-bred and never out of the first two last year, winning at Sandown and then second in a Group Two at Goodwood. Could develop into a more than useful sprinter this season.

Conclusion: TIPSY CREEK has class and, after his good third first time out, should be ready to rumble here. Sarson is potentially a smart sprinter from the younger generation, while any softening of the ground would favour Night Shot.
