Sir Paul Fox, a former controller of BBC1, will next year take over as chairman of the Racecourse Association. He will succeed J J Warr provided his nomination is accepted at an extra-ordinary general meeting to be held on 9 December. The position will give him an automatic seat on the embryonic British Horseracing Board. John Sanderson, chief executive of Doncaster, will take the other RCA seat on the Board.
