TOMORROW'S TURF meetings at Newcastle and Ludlow depend upon a sudden end to the cold snap. Newcastle's course was still frozen last night, while an inspection has already been called for 9.30am today at Ludlow where large patches of the track are frozen.
Yesterday was a blank day for racing with even management at Wolverhampton's ``all-weather'' track being forced to abandon.
This afternoon's jumping card at Folkestone depends on an early morning inspection, but the management at Southwell claimed yesterday that there was no threat to today's meeting.
The third meeting scheduled for tomorrow is on Lingfield's Equitrack surface and no problems are expected.
