WILLIE RYAN is hoping to make his comeback on Saturday after successfully coming through a workout yesterday morning. Ryan, 33, has been on the sidelines since breaking three ribs when unseated by Foyer in the Derby.
After riding out with Henry Cecil's string, the jockey said: 'I did a couple of canters and it felt pretty good. I can still feel the injury but I don't think it's going to worry me too much. I'll ride work again tomorrow and push one out and if that feels all right I hope to return on Saturday.'
Alan Munro rode his fifth winner in two days with a double at Brighton on Walnut Burl and Inderaputeri.
