Nanton cuts a peaceful figure as he walks around the pre-parade ring at York racecourse yesterday afternoon.
The horse, trained by Jim Goldie at his yard just outside Glasgow, had been expected to do well in the Emirates Airline Cup after a fine string of results earlier in the season but faded towards the end of the race, eventually finishing fifth behind 13/8 favourite Manifest.
