The British cross-country No 1 and Olympic prospect Paula Radcliffe won the British Student Championship title for the second time at Luton yesterday. Radcliffe, the winner of recent International Amateur Athletics Federation events at Durham and Belfast, was again in dominant form as she led Loughborough University to team victory. Radcliffe clocked a fast time of 18 minutes 30 seconds over the 5,750-metre course to lead home Liz Talbot - representing Leicester De Montfort University - by 33 seconds.
