Radcliffe's second win on the trot

Britain's Paula Radcliffe won the women's 4.8km cross-country event at Mallusk in Northern Ireland yesterday, her second triumph in a row after her win in Durham last week. Kenya's James Kariuki won the 8km men's race. The Commonwealth shot putt champion, Judy Oakes, achieved the Atlanta Olympics qualifying standard when she won the shot at the Puma Grand Prix indoor meeting at Crystal Palace last night with a throw of 18.11m, 11cm over the qualifying mark.
