AN INJURY to Alan Tait gives the French Test captain, Patrick Entat, his Leeds debut at Workington tonight, writes Dave Hadfield.

Graham Holroyd moves to full-back, Garry Schofield reclaims his stand-off role and Entat is at scrum-half for the opening game of the new season. Leeds' other new signings, the New Zealand forwards, George Mann and Esene Faimalo, will be on the bench, with Marcus Vassilakopoulos standing in for the injured hooker, James Lowes.

Vince Fawcett, signed during the summer, makes his Workington debut at centre against his former club.

Phil Clarke will miss Wigan's opening match at Featherstone on Sunday. He has not fully recovered from a summer wrist operation.

The Salford coach, Garry Jack, has left Andy Gregory, out of the team to play Wakefield. Gregory was late starting summer training because of an ear infection.
