(First Edition) A Joint Services team playing in Britain for the first time lost 28-10 to the French Army side at RAF Uxbridge yesterday, writes Dave Hadfield.
The team, formed from players in the RAF earlier this year after a long battle for recognition, scored all their points in a second half during which they matched their more experienced opponents. The RAF's Paul Hillier scored a try, with Mick Hughes, of the Royal Engineers, landing three penalties.
