Simon Hodgkinson, the former England full-back, has rejoined his former club Nottingham from their Second Division rivals, Moseley. He intends to play one more season before concentrating on coaching.

Australia effectively revealed their World Cup line-up yesterday by announcing a virtually unchanged side for the second and final Test against Argentina on Saturday. The official World Cup squad is due to be announced today but an Australian Rugby Union spokesman confirmed that the team chosen for the Test in Sydney will form the nucleus of the 26-strong squad.
