Nottingham's director of rugby, Roger Whittaker, has resigned after more than two years in the position. A club statement said Whittaker had left because "the problems of the new professional era, coupled with the lack of financial support for the club, have created such pressure that he can no longer fulfil his obligations to his career and the club".
Waterloo have signed Emosi Koloto, the Widnes rugby league coach who has also played in New Zealand. He becomes part of their back-room staff.
