Barry Evans, the former England winger, has joined the League Four North club Worcester. Evans left Leicester during last season and has now signed a one-year part-time contract with Worcester after impressing on their pre-season training camp in South Wales last weekend.

Jason John, the Great Britain sprinter, will make his senior rugby debut for Moseley on their pre-season tour of the Netherlands this weekend. He has been included in their squad for the games against a Dutch Select XI tomorrow and Hilversum on Sunday.
