The entire Scottish amateur rugby league team has been threatened with expulsion from rugby union after defying warnings and playing alongside two professionals in Edinburgh yesterday. Twickenham may also be asked to take similar action against members of a North-East of England team for being on the same pitch at Meadowbank as the Carlisle rugby league pair George Graham and Hugh Waddell.
