Four members of the likely England squad for next weekend's big Six Nations contest with Wales will feature in Friday's high-calibre Premiership match between Bath and Saracens at the Recreation Ground. The home side, third in the table, have named the uncapped outside-half George Ford and the lock Dave Attwood in their starting line-up, while the second-placed Londoners travel with the full-back Alex Goode and the loose-head prop Mako Vunipola.

A group of others, particularly in the outside backs, will be going out of their way to catch the eye of Stuart Lancaster and his England coaching panel with the end-of-season tour of New Zealand in mind.

The Bath wing Anthony Watson is firmly on Lancaster's radar, while three centres – the hosts' Kyle Eastmond, along with the visiting pair of Brad Barritt and Joel Tomkins – have a golden opportunity to stake a claim for places in the red-rose midfield.
