England have unveiled their World Cup training kit ahead of the home tournament which begins in September this year.

Modelled by England regulars Joe Marler, James Haskell and captain Chris Robshaw, the Canterbury-made kit includes the training shirt and shorts plus the full tracksuit that will be seen at England Pennyhill Park training base throughout the World Cup.

The launch comes on the day that England head coach Stuart Lancaster named his 50-man World Cup training squad, which sees seven uncapped players given the chance to impress including cross-code convert Sam Burgess and Saracens’ 20-year-old lock Maro Itoje.

There will also be a specialist World Cup kit launches closer to the tournament, with World Rugby regulations stating that sponsorship cannot appear on the front of shirts during the World Cup, whereas England have had main sponsor O2 on their kit for a number of years.

The launch of the training kit also includes a number of individual words that the players themselves have picked out to describe what it means to represent their country.

Robshaw said: “The whole squad takes huge pride in playing for England and it is a massive honour to pull on the shirt and wear the rose. Representing the country is very special and means a great deal to all of us.”

The new range is available to pre-order now at www.Canterbury.com, www.englandrugbystore.com and in stores nationwide.
