Wales’ Autumn International calendar didn’t get off to the best of starts as they found themselves 20-3 to Australia down at half time at the Principality Stadium.

Stephen Moore crossed first for the Wallabies as they crashed over from a drive before Tevita Kuridrani touched down shortly after Dan Biggar returned to the pitch following 10 minutes in the sin bin.

Reece Hodge added the third score before half-time with a sole Leigh Halfpenny penalty all Wales had to show from the first 40 minutes.

Wales are on a run of five defeats from their last six games having been whitewashed 3-0 in the summer by New Zealand and losing twice to England, either side of a victory over Italy.

Australia are in poor form themselves and it seemed like it would be a perfect opportunity to end the hoodoo against the Wallabies, but the first-half display was anything but inspiring.

Wales fans took to social media to react to the dire first half, with the best reactions shown below.

Wales also have games against Japan, Argentina and South Africa throughout November.
