Kellock aims to be back for All Blacks
Alastair Kellock is targeting a return to the Scotland side for the autumn Tests.
The Glasgow Warriors lock, who led the Scots to their historic Test series success in Argentina in the summer, will miss the start of the new campaign, having had off-season surgery on a knee injury.
But Kellock is determined to be fit in time to press his case for selection for Scotland’s opening game of the autumn Tests against New Zealand at Murrayfield on 13 November. He said: “I’ll be working as hard as possible, as soon as my knee allows.”
Scotland team doctor James Robson said: “Al had a follow-up procedure last week and he will be working on his recovery with the Glasgow Warriors medical team.”
