Bath winger Semesa Rokoduguni has been added to the England squad for a warm-weather training camp in Portugal.

The 30-year-old, who has two caps to his name, replaces Elliot Daly as the Wasps wing is expected to be out for around three weeks with a knee injury.

Daly suffered a grade two medial collateral ligament tear during Wasps' Aviva Premiership victory over Northampton on Saturday.

His Wasps team-mate Matt Mullan will also miss the trip to Portugal after tearing a tendon in his triceps during the same game.

The 30-year-old prop requires surgery which will keep him out for approximately three months.

A club statement read: “The pair will remain with Wasps to follow the rehab schedule with the club's medical team, who will keep in regular contact with the England medical team."

England kick off their autumn Test campaign against Argentina at Twickenham on November 11, followed by appointments with Australia and Samoa.

Speaking before the call-up, after Bath's 22-21 defeat at home to Gloucester, Rokoduguni said: “The only thing I can control is to keep performing with Bath and we will see whatever comes up.

“It is a contact sport. Anything can happen in the next couple of weeks whether in training or in games with injuries.

“You never know the next opportunity may be just around the corner. I will keep performing, keep looking after my body and try to get better every day.

“There has been contact with Eddie (Jones) about the way I have been playing. In the past couple of games, he has been happy with my defensive improvement.

“I need to keep working on my connection between the 13 and the backfield coverage, reading the play and making the right decision at the right time, whether to step in or to give the attacking players the edge.

“The more feedback I get, the better I can get. Every day is a learning day for me.”
