Wales have turned to yoga in an attempt to improve their chances at this year's World Cup. Warren Gatland wants his players to avoid becoming "gym monkeys" by improving their flexibility. He also wants to help those who are prone to injury.

Jamie Roberts, Stephen Jones and Alun Wyn Jones are among the players studying Bikram yoga, which takes place in a room heated to 30 degrees. Wales conditioning coach Adam Beard said: "Rugby has so many different elements. Players have to stretch to catch balls and get hit in awkward positions, as well as having certain mobility to hit positions in running. It's good to have more flexibility."
