Brilliance skated home for a four lengths victory in the Group One Prix Saint-Alary at Longchamp yesterday. The filly now goes for next month's Prix de Diane (French Oaks) at Chantilly. Fleeting Glimpse was second. Darashandeh, the favourite, was fourth. Grey Shot is now bound for the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot after Ian Balding's stayer failed by just a short head to land the Prix Vicomtesse Vigier.
