Ex-Manchester United legend and Molde FK's new manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, revealed that he's been a big fan of football management games, specifically Championship Manager and its spiritual successor, Football Manager.
"I've played a lot of Championship Manager and Football Manager in recent years. Now I'm trying it for myself," he told Norwegian channel TV2 Sporten on his first day in charge.
However, he's resisted trying his hand as boss of the game's virtual Molde FK side - for that, he turns to the more action-oriented FIFA series, "but it hasn't gone so well," he joked.
When asked who his favorite transfers were, a crucial question for any Football Manager fan, Solskjaer declined to give a direct answer, allowing the interview to return to real-world matters.
