Adrian Maguire made a remarkable return from injury to ride a double for his boss David Nicholson at Worcester last night.

Four months after breaking his right arm in a fall at Hereford, he found that the winning knack had not deserted him as he guided Musthaveaswig to an easy victory in the Redditch Handicap Chase.

Musthaveaswig, a 9-4 chance, strode to a 20-length success from Mr Entertainer. Maguire returned to the winner's enclosure when Sonic Star won by seven lengths.
