BRITISH runners hoping to be selected for the world cross-country championships in Bilbao next March must race in the inter-counties event at Corby on 6 February.

JOHN NGUGI, of Kenya, five times the world cross-country champion, will compete in the Great South Run at Portsmouth on Sunday.
