THE owner of the San Francisco Giants, Robert Lurie, said yesterday he has agreed to sell the team for around dollars 110m ( pounds 57m) to a group of Tampa Bay investors who plan to move the franchise to St Petersburg in Florida for the 1993 season. Since the Giants moved to San Francisco in 1958, the team have won two National League pennants and one World Series.
