MAGIC JOHNSON has signed a one-year contract reportedly worth dollars 14.6m ( pounds 8.34m) to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. Johnson, a gold medallist with the US 'Dream Team' at the Barcelona Olympics, retired from the NBA last year after discovering he was HIV positive.
