GEET SETHI, the world No 1 from India, made a world-record break of 1,276 in the Gold Flake world professional championship in Bombay yesterday. Sethi's feat, which took 80 minutes to compile, came during his quarter-final victory over England's Bob Close and beat his own previous world record of 735 which he set two years ago. Mike Russell, the defending champion from England, meets Sethi in the final today.
