JOHN DAVISON'S WBO featherweight world title bid against the Colombian, Ruben Palacio, scheduled for 13 March at Washington, County Durham, has been postponed for a second time. Palacio has pulled out because of an Achilles tendon problem. The fight is now set for 24 April, also at Washington.

MICHAEL NUNN, the WBA super-middleweight champion, was arrested on an alcohol and weapons charge in Orion, Illinois early yesterday after being pulled over for driving in what authorities said was an erratic manner.
