HEROL GRAHAM, the former British, European and Commonwealth middleweight champion, last night announced his retirement, less than three weeks before a planned comeback fight. After 49 bouts and nearly 15 years in the sport, Graham intends to stay in the sport as a trainer. The Sheffield southpaw, who twice went close to winning the world title, lost his British championship to Frank Grant at Elland Road in September.
