COLIN McMILLAN, the former World Boxing Organisation featherweight champion, launches his comeback after injury in Italy at the end of next month. The opponent and venue have yet to be confirmed, but the promoter, Frank Warren, yesterday announced that McMillan would fight in Italy on 27 February.

FREDDIE PENDLETON scored a unanimous decision over fellow American Tracy Spann to claim the vacant International Boxing Federation lightweight title in Atlantic City on Sunday night.
