LENNOX LEWIS'S heavyweight title eliminator against Razor Ruddock at Earls Court on 31 October will be backed by a World Boxing Association welterweight championship fight between the holder, Meldrick Taylor, of the United States, and Venezuela's Cristo Espana.

GARY JACOBS, the British welterweight champion from Glasgow, will meet Ludovic Proto for the vacant European title in Paris on 16 October.
