SRI LANKANS who have been starved of international cricket for five years because of civil unrest will stage two day/night matches in Colombo in August against an invitation side led by Sunil Gavaskar, the former Indian test captain. The visiting team will include India's Kapil Dev and Ravi Shastri, Steve Waugh of Australia, Pakistan's Abdul Qadir and South African Peter Kirsten. No test side has visited Sri Lanka since New Zealand were forced to cut short a tour in 1987 because of violence.
