ALLAN BORDER, the Australian captain, will drop down the batting order from No 4 to No 6 on the six-week tour to Sri Lanka, which starts next week. 'We have been talking about Allan batting at six for a while and we thought it would be an enormous boost to have his experience there,' Bobby Simpson, the Australian coach, said. Mark Waugh, the Essex batsman, will move to No 4, with Durham's Dean Jones at No 5, while Worcestershire's Tom Moody is set to open with Mark Taylor.
