DON OSLEAR has been voted out as chairman of the First Class Umpires' Association, and has been replaced by the former Somerset player, Roy Kerslake, now a Taunton solicitor. Oslear stood in five Tests during the early 1980s and, as the reserve official, became involved in the controversy over alleged ball-tampering during England's Texaco Trophy match against Pakistan at Lord's last month.
