ALLAN LAMB, the England Test batsman already fined and suspended by his county, Northamptonshire, for his ball-tampering allegations against Pakistan's bowlers in this summer's Test series, could face further punishment today when he appears before the Test and County Cricket Board's disciplinary committee at Lord's.

JOHN HAMPSHIRE, the English Test umpire, has been appointed by Zimbabwe as national team coach, on a two- month contract, for October's inaugural Test against India and the subsequent tour of New Zealand.
