FORMER Test captain Ajit Wadekar has been named manager of the Indian team for the tour of Zimbabwe and South Africa next month. Wadekar, who led his country in 16 tests in the 1970s, replaces another former Test player, Abbas Ali Baig. India will play one Test against Zimbabwe and four Tests and seven one- day internationals in South Africa.
