THE president of the Uruguayan club Nacional, Ceferino Rodriguez, said in Montevideo that this week he will make the former Argentina captain Diego Maradona a formal offer to join the team. Maradona 'agreed to meet with me, and then decide whether to sign up for Nacional or not', Rodriguez said.
