DAVE BEASANT, the former Wimbledon, Newcastle and England goalkeeper, suffered a setback yesterday when Wolves declined Chelsea's offer to extend his month's loan deal.

STEVE HOWEY will withdraw from England's Under-21 squad to play San Marino at Luton on Tuesday because of groin and hamstring injuries.
