TERRY BUTCHER, the Sunderland manager, is set to take his close season spending to pounds 2.5m with the signing of Oxford United's Welsh international defender Andy Melville. He will cost Sunderland pounds 500,000 with the Northern Ireland international Anton Rogan, valued at pounds 300,000, joining Oxford as part of the deal.
