SCOTTISH League officials yesterday called off next month's meeting between its 38 clubs who were due to vote on a new four league set-up. The meeting has been cancelled amid suggestions that behind- the-scenes moves could end in agreement between all clubs including the 10 threatening to form a self-governing Super League.

NAPOLI have asked Fifa to prevent Diego Maradona from playing for Seville until a dispute over non-payment of the first instalment of the pounds 4.5m transfer fee for the former Argentine captain is settled.
