COLIN MILLER, the Hamilton Academical full-back, scored an 86th-minute equaliser that earned Canada a point from a 1-1 draw in a World Cup qualifier in El Salvador on Sunday.

THE Italian Serie A club, Pescara, have requested a replay of Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Genoa after the referee, Massimo Chiesa, allegedly cautioned a home player twice without sending him off. Chiesa appeared to wave the yellow card at Igor Dobrovolski for failing to retreat at a free-kick in the first half, and then cautioned him again for play-acting shortly after half- time. Chiesa claimed he had booked the midfielder Roberto Onorati, and not Dobrovolski, in the first half.
