PETER NDLOVU, the Coventry City striker, opened the scoring as Zimbabwe beat Egypt 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier in Harare yesterday. Liverpool's Bruce Grobbelaar made several fine saves to keep the Egyptians out in the closing stages. The two countries are level at the top of Group C with two wins each.
