Sport in Short: Golf
THE world team championship over the Old Course at St Andrews from 15 to 18 October will have a new name - the Alfred Dunhill Cup - and a new format. It will feature a round-robin competition, with the 16 teams divided into groups of four. All the teams in each group will play each other over the first three days of the event, with the leading teams going forward to 18-hole semi-finals on the Sunday, with the final on the same day.
