Sport in Short: Golf
AUGUSTA, home of the US Masters, could be the setting for the return of golf to the Olympics in 1996 after a break of 92 years. The organisers of the Atlanta Games are to forward their proposals to the International Olympic Committee, but no decision is expected until December.
EUROPE'S women players will start 1993 in Argentina with the 54-hole New Year's Open from 5 to 7 January - the first women's professional tournament to be held in the country.
