ITALY'S Federica Dassu and rookie professional Carin Hjalmarsson, of Sweden, upstaged the Solheim Cup pair, Dale Reid and Kitrina Douglas, in the first round of the 36-hole Mobil Classic in Dubai yesterday. Dassu and Hjalmarsson shot opening three-under-par 70s to share the lead, while Reid had to settle for a 74. Douglas was two strokes further back.
