THE National Hockey League has awarded conditional franchises to the Walt Disney organisation and to Wayne Huizenga, the owner of the new Florida Marlins baseball team. The teams should start in the league next season, with the Disney team based in Anaheim, California, and Huizenga's outfit in Miami.
