ALESSANDRO ZANARDI, the Italian driver, yesterday signed to drive for Team Lotus this season alongside Britain's Johnny Herbert. Zanardi's arrival means that the Finn, Mika Hakkinen, will probably leave Lotus to join the American, Michael Andretti, at McLaren.
