MICHAEL DOOHAN, the 27-year-old Australian rider, will have an operation today after breaking a bone in his wrist during testing in Malaysia on Thursday. Doohan, runner-up in the 500cc world championship for the past two years, was injured in a crash on the third and final day of a practice session at the Shah Alam circuit near Kuala Lumpur.
