THE European Broadcasting Union will pay dollars 250m ( pounds 165m) for broadcast rights to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. The organising committee will receive dollars 160m with the rest going to the International Olympic Committee. The EBU, which groups major European broadcasters, paid dollars 90m for rights to the Barcelona Games.
