Sport in Short: Olympic Games

A DECISION on golf's inclusion at the 1996 Atlanta Games has been referred to the IOC's executive board meeting in Lausanne in March. If the executive gives the go-ahead, the decision would then have to be accepted by the full IOC in June. The IOC is thought to be evenly split. Critics are unhappy that the proposed host, the Augusta National club, has only one black and no women among its members.
