STEVE REDGRAVE, the triple Olympic gold medallist, is to receive an increase of pounds 2,000, to pounds 6,000, in the grant awarded by the Sports Aid Foundation towards his training costs. The move is in response to Redgrave's recent plea that unless he finds a sponsor to provide the pounds 25,000 he needs to continue full-time training he will be unable to compete at the 1996 Games.
